The "Scientific Works" periodical, published in 1998 by the decision of the scientific council of the Shirak Center for Armenological Studies NAS RA, contains articles on philology, history, archeology, ethnography, and art studies regarding Shirak and its adjacent territories. An important portion of the coverage is also given to foreign relations, regional political developments, and other issues. Free publications are made available for Russian, English, and Armenian articles. The periodical "Scientific Works" is published twice a year. Submissions, for the first issue of the year, must be made by March 15, and for the second issue by September 15. Researchers possessing scientific degrees in the social sciences and humanities are qualified to submit articles to the journal (in case they do not hold such a degree, the editorial board will make its final decision).
